Request:
We performed a preliminary feasibility analysis on 19 energy storage projects throughout the US. The sites were at various stages of development and some had initial studies/surveys. Where available, the initial studies/surveys were included in our standard site evaluation reports.
Process:
We performed a buildability analysis identifying an energy storage layout and potential buildable area constraints. Next, we assessed project risks including land use and environmental permitting issues, flood plains, and tax agreements. Finally, we reviewed the points of interconnection and interconnection process.
Outcome:
We provided the client with 19 energy storage site evaluations which were able to be easily shared with the client’s team and detailed the projects risks and opportunities providing for a direct comparison of projects in multiple energy markets.
