Request:
A client tasked us with performing a site search for land in the southwestern US and then contacting landowners on their behalf within 2 months to meet the deadline for an upcoming RFP.
Process:
We searched for land around specific substation and transmission line targets provided by the client. The land was prioritized based on buildability and distance to the points of interconnection (POI). Next, we searched for contact information for the land based on the prioritization. Finally, we contacted landowners through email, phone calls, mailers, and lastly in person to determine interest.
Outcome:
We were able to make contact and negotiate terms with a landowner in time for the company to bid the site into the RFP.
