Request:
We were asked by a client to identify projects in MISO meeting their specific criteria based on capacity, date of commercial operation, and location.
Process:
We first reviewed and filtered the interconnection queue to identify the projects only meeting the client’s criteria. Next, we researched the county land records to identify project names and specific parcels. The MISO GIS map and county/POI locations provided in the interconnection queue were used to narrow down the names searched in the county land records. Finally, for any project names identified, the corporate records were analyzed to identify the likely project owner.
Outcome:
We found 90 queue positions meeting their criteria and were able to identify the project owner of 55 of the queue positions (more than 60% success rate).
