Site Searching & Real Estate
We use fiber, power, land availability, and distance to data center markets to identify data center siting opportunities. We also engage in real estate research and landowner outreach.
Economic Development & Zoning
We conduct research and communicate the local economic development and zoning jurisdictions. We support permitting and tax abatement negotiations with local jurisdictions, as well as creating site plans for permitting documents.
On-Site
Power Options
We review on-site power strategies and options including renewables and BESS. We conduct design, modeling, and cost estimates for on-site power options.
Renewable/BESS PPA Solicitation
We identify renewable and BESS power contract opportunities, coordinate RFP responses, and negotiate with counterparties to obtain power contracts for data centers
Utility Negotiation & Coordination
We lead official communications between the data center and the utility during the transmission service process and negotiate tariff rates with the utility. We coordinate with the utility, manage the process for connecting a new data center to the transmission grid, and create site plans for transmission service requests.
